OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.

By entering the Convert Roofing “Free Roof Giveaway” (the “Promotion”), you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects.

1. SPONSOR

The Promotion is sponsored by Convert Roofing (“Sponsor”), with a principal place of business at 5770 Thurston Ave #106, Virginia Beach, VA 23455

2. ELIGIBILITY

The Promotion is open only to legal residents of the Commonwealth of Virginia who:

1. Are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry;

2. Own (or have written permission from the legal owner of) a single-family residential home located within Sponsor’s service area in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia (including but not limited to Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Hampton, Newport News, and surrounding communities); and

3. Are able to enter into a binding agreement for home improvement work on the property.

Employees, officers, and directors of Sponsor, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members are not eligible to enter or win. The Promotion is void outside Virginia and where prohibited or restricted by law.

Sponsor may require proof of eligibility, ownership, identity, and residency at any time.

3. PROMOTION PERIOD

The Promotion begins on November 15, 2025 at 12:00:01 AM Eastern Time (“ET”)] and ends at 11:59 PM ET on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 (the “Promotion Period”).

Entries submitted before the start or after the end of the Promotion Period will not be eligible.

4. HOW TO ENTER

During the Promotion Period, eligible participants must complete all of the following steps to receive one (1) eligible entry:

1. Submit the Entry Form
   Visit the Promotion landing page at https://convertroofing.com/christmas/  and fully complete the online entry form with all required information (including name, contact information, and property address). Click “Submit” to send your entry to Sponsor.

2. Record a Video Story
   Using a smartphone or other device, record a short video (approximately 60–90 seconds) explaining why you—or someone you love—deserves a new roof this Christmas. The video should mention the Promotion and Convert Roofing.

3. Post & Tag on Facebook
   Post your video on your personal Facebook profile or page, set the post privacy setting to Public, and tag @ConvertRoofing in the post caption. You may also include the hashtag #[optional branded hashtag, e.g., ConvertRoofChristmasRoof] (recommended but not required).

All three steps above must be completed during the Promotion Period for the entry to be considered valid.

Limit one (1) entry per household. Multiple entries by the same person or household, or entries generated by automated means, will be disqualified. Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, disqualify any entry that is incomplete, illegible, inaccurate, forged, or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules.

5. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

By submitting an entry, you represent and warrant that:

• The video and any other content submitted (collectively, the “Content”) is your original work, or you have all necessary rights and permissions to submit it;

• The Content does not infringe or violate any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other proprietary rights of any person or entity;

• The Content does not contain any unlawful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate material, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion; and

• Any individuals other than you who appear in the Content have given you permission to include them and to grant the rights described in these Official Rules.

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these requirements or that Sponsor deems inappropriate or objectionable.

6. JUDGING AND WINNER SELECTION

This is a skill-based Promotion, not a random drawing.

After the Promotion Period ends, a panel of judges selected by Sponsor will review all eligible entries and score them according to the following judging criteria:

1. Heartfelt Story / Emotional Impact (0–50 points)

2. Need for a New Roof (0–30 points)

3. Clarity and Authenticity of the Story (0–20 points)

The eligible entry receiving the highest total score, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, will be deemed the potential winner (subject to verification). In the event of a tie, the tied entries will be re-judged by Sponsor based on the “Heartfelt Story / Emotional Impact” criterion.

Sponsor’s decisions regarding the judging, selection of the winner, and interpretation of these Official Rules are final and binding in all respects.

Sponsor anticipates announcing the winner on or about Friday, December 19, 2025 (the “Winner Announcement Date”) on Sponsor’s Facebook page and by direct contact with the potential winner, but reserves the right to adjust timing if necessary.

7. PRIZE

One (1) Grand Prize: One (1) eligible winner will receive a roof replacement for their primary residence (the “Prize”).

The Prize will consist of:

• Removal of existing roofing materials on the primary residence roof;

• Installation of new roofing materials (standard asphalt shingles) and related underlayment, flashing, and ventilation (as determined necessary by Sponsor); and

• Cleanup and haul away of old materials.

The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the Prize is up to $15,000, depending on the size, pitch, and condition of the roof and other project factors. If the total project cost exceeds $15,000, the winner may, at their option, pay the difference to proceed, but is under no obligation to do so.

The Prize:

• Is limited to the main roof of the primary residential structure at the address submitted in the entry;

• Does not include detached structures (e.g., sheds, detached garages), interior repairs, gutters, fascia/soffit replacement beyond normal flashing integration, structural repairs, or any other work not typically included in a standard roof replacement;

• Is subject to a professional roof inspection and any required permits or approvals.

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the scope of work, materials, and installation methods, and to make reasonable substitutions of materials of comparable quality and value if necessary.

No cash alternative is available, and the Prize is non-transferable and may not be sold, assigned, or substituted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the Prize becomes unavailable.

All federal, state, and local taxes, and any other costs and expenses associated with Prize acceptance and use not specified herein, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Sponsor may issue an IRS Form 1099 to the winner based on the ARV of the Prize, if required by law.

The roof installation must be scheduled and completed within [e.g., 12 months] of winner verification, subject to weather, material availability, and scheduling.

8. WINNER NOTIFICATION AND VERIFICATION

The potential winner will be notified by phone, email, and/or Facebook direct message using the contact information provided with the entry, within a reasonable time after judging is complete.

To become the official winner, the potential winner must:

1. Respond to the notification within [e.g., 72 hours];

2. Complete, sign, and return any required affidavits, declarations of eligibility, liability/publicity releases, and/or homeowner permission forms within the time period specified by Sponsor;

3. Provide proof of home ownership or written permission from the property owner; and

4. Permit Sponsor to conduct an on-site roof inspection to confirm eligibility and scope of work.

If the potential winner fails to respond in time, fails to complete the required documentation, fails the inspection, is deemed ineligible, or declines the Prize, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, select an alternate winner based on the next highest scoring eligible entry, or may elect not to award the Prize.

9. ODDS OF WINNING

Because this is a judged contest, odds of winning depend on the number and quality of eligible entries received.

10. GENERAL CONDITIONS

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to:

• Cancel, suspend, or modify the Promotion if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Promotion; and/or

• Disqualify any individual or entry it finds to be tampering with the entry process, acting in violation of these Official Rules, or acting in a disruptive or unsportsmanlike manner.

Any attempt to damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil laws, and Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. RELEASE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By participating, you agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim, liability, injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising out of or related to:

• Your participation in the Promotion;

• Any use of your Content by Sponsor;

• The awarding, receipt, installation, use, or misuse of the Prize; or

• Any travel or activity related to the Prize.

Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, stolen, altered, garbled, inaccurate, incomplete, or undelivered entries; technical, hardware, or software failures; or any other errors or problems of any kind, whether human, mechanical, electronic, or network-related.

12. PUBLICITY

Except where prohibited by law, by entering, you grant Sponsor and its designees the perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right and license to use your name, hometown, likeness, voice, story, statements, and Content (including your video) in any and all media now known or later developed, for advertising, promotional, and other commercial purposes, without additional compensation or notice.

13. PRIVACY

Any personal information collected in connection with the Promotion will be used by Sponsor in accordance with these Official Rules and Sponsor’s standard privacy practices. By entering, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information for the purposes of administering the Promotion and as otherwise described herein.

14. FACEBOOK / META DISCLAIMER

The Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Meta, or any other third-party platform. You understand that you are providing your information to Sponsor and not to Facebook or Meta. Any questions, comments, or complaints regarding the Promotion should be directed to Sponsor, not Facebook or Meta.

15. DISPUTES; GOVERNING LAW

Except where prohibited, entrants agree that:

• Any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion or any Prize shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate state court located in Virginia Beach, Virginia; and

• All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules or the rights and obligations of participants and Sponsor shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.

To request the name of the winner (available after the Winner Announcement Date), send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to:
